Mythic Ocean - Amar
3D model, character design, texture, rigging and animation of the character Amar from the game Mythic Ocean.
Amar was the test subject for normal mapping to determine the overall look of the characters.

• Using bump mapping to define fur, we found the initial results to be too gaunt. 

• We opted for normal maps created in Blender with Toon shaders and vertex groups for a sleeker look and more vibrant appeal.

• Making our own shaders allowed us greater control over color and where shadows appeared on meshes.
